We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.

Sundaybrunch

For tomorrow, my friends and me plan to go and have a brunch, so I thought of putting together some information about it. We've all head a busy week with our small internships as we've never "worked" before. We also haven't seen each other for one whole week (it just appears strange to me because usually, I see them every day at school...).

  1. It's a meal you have in the morning and it's used to replace both lunch and breakfast.
  2. It could be served after an event in the morning, but also before people do something the afternoon. That's why my friends and me go brunching, we'll go to a Festival afterwards.
  3. Usually, brunch is more relaxed than breakfast or lunch and, yes, it can be used for celebrations but most of them are rather informal.
  4. Most hotels or restaurants, and even small caffés, offer a buffet and the food can include anything that's usually eaten through the day. There's meat or even seafood like smoken fish or shrimp, vegetables, salads, fruits (and fruitsalads as well!), of course many types of bread stuff and...desserts. My favourite is Mousse a la Vanille (that's how I call it)
  5. Some places to have brunch at offer a COFFEEFLATRATE. if you go to look for a restaurant, think about the drinks you want to have with your brunch. Juice is usually free, but hot drinks can easily cost a lot.
I'll post a picture of my outfit afterwards, because so far I've just chosen my nailpolish and the new thights I'm gonna wear. They're purple and I loove them.

It's so cold here in Germany and it rains all day long -.-
Anyway, what do you think of brunching? A good idea or a waste of time and money? Ever been before?
xxx

P.S: Oh and of course for Mother's Day, I'm out for dinner with my family. Might post an outfit of that, too!

Classical

All of a sudden, I really, really felt like playing the piano.
No, of course that's not my Steinway and Son's, but I'd like to have it. One day...
Can't remember who it was, but someone said that Art and Fashion were sisters. Well, I think, music is somewhere in the family, too.

In 2008, Karl Lagerfeld designed some "Organ inspired fashion", that's what this article told me.

Not sure if I'd wear it, but I love that Chanel dress.
If any of you get the chance to visit Harrods in London, take a look at the music department. They once let me play on one of their pianos (it was made of glass!), so try not to shop all the time and have a look at the instrments. They're beautiful.

Here are my top five reasons why learning how to play the piano
(but they go for any instrument I guess)
<3 It's relaxing after you had a long day
<3 You can play for others. Make them happy and enjoy their compliments
<3It.sounds.so.nice! Live-heard better than on CD. Why not give yourself a little concert?
<3 You'll see your progress soon
<3 There is ALWAYS a new song to play.

Air

Hey, so today I'm not that tired.

HOWEVER, blogger.com makes me freak out! AWWW I just posted quite a long txt and they tell me something about an error of HTML. blablabla..

Hm... today I was at the technology department of the air traffic control and they taught me how to use an ILS- Instrumental Landing System. It's difficult as hell but in case I go on holiday with an airplane and both pilots die, I'll raise my arm to tell the people on board that I can land on a runway now :D

In fact, there is so much to do the next days. There's my friend's 18th birthday on Friday and I still don't have a present. Ideas, anyone??

Cardigan: Berschka at Galeries La Fayette, jeans and blue shirt: H&M, floral top: Primark (2 pound!)

I really like the cardigan.
It has a bit of vintage-design but it can go with almost everything.

I think that was it for today. Love you loads!

Almost asleep

Hey guys,

I'm soo tired. After reading your blogs (which is my "good-night-lecture" and hopefully makes me dream of fashion and all the crazy stuff you do!)...I'll go straight to bed.
and why's that? Because...Today I started my 2-weeks..uhm.. Workexperience? I don't know how it's called in english and I'm too tired to get out my dictonary! So it's like when you go to some kind of company just to have a look around for1 or two 2 weeks. You know, seeing the different things to do, talking to people (my boss is great!), make a few experiences.

Mine is at the Air Traffic Control Hannover (my hometown :)). I'll talk a bit about it tomorrow. I just wanted to say: My first day was really nice!

As there was no dresscode, I chose a simple jeans & a red shirt with a coloured long top underneath. Now I finally know the dresscode and I'll post a picture tomorrow. I promise!

That's me, bye the way. Can you figure out where I'm at?
XXX

ps: oh YES, I love airplanes. NO idea why but YES I do ;)

Wonderland

Hey everyone!

hehe, I hope at least two people read what I'm writing. I've wanted to have a blog for a looong time. So- here it is.
I'm Keki, a 16- year old...fashion addictive? Mhh not really. I love fashion and I love talking about it, but I'm crazy about so many things. Anything that has to do with Lifestyle, the savoir vivre, goes for me.
As you whil probably tell from all the grammar and spelling mistakes I make, English is not my native language, but I really wanted to write in English... To share all the weird ideas I have with as many of you as possible.

Besides, English is a beautiful language. It sounds so smooth compared to German. I lived in England for half a year. The culture is great, the people are friendly and very open-minded...blablabla. Okay, enough of that xD

The name is Cheshirecat. Because...Because! I love Cheshirecat from Alice in Wonderland. The quote underneath is my favourite one.

And now I ask myself...

Isn't the whole world a big wonderland?

There are so many things going on...If you just look close and enjoy life.
Yesterday, at the bus stop, I was bored as hell. Ipod out of batterie, no book to read...I stared at the street infront of me. Suddenly A man with his 10-months-old-son at the back of his bike drove by.

The little kid was showing me the middle- finger. eehhhmm?? hello? xD It really made me laugh.

(I'm not sure about other countries..but here in Germany that's pretty offensive)

Another day, on our way back from school, my friends and me saw a puddle surrounded my varis big warning-signs and a wall! I swear it was just a PUDDLE.

Haha, sorry but I could'nt find a photograph on the internet as I didn't take a picture of it.
microsoft paint did a good job anyway.

Okay, so now you know that I like strange stuff, especially Alice in Wonderland. and NOOO, not because of the film with Johnny Depp.
This is what one of my friends (who love online shopping^^) ordered for me at girlprops.com:

Hugs and Kisses,
( I love writing that! English/American/English-speaking-people...your language rocks!)
